Volunteer as a Trustee
We are looking for trustees to join our board. Successful candidates must care deeply about our mission and purpose and be willing to share their relevant skills and experience to provide guidance, support and governance to As You Are.

Volunteer at the AYA Reception
We are currently looking for volunteers to run our busy reception at their base in Southwick, just outside of Worthing.
As first point of contact for our clients you will play an integral role in the organisation. You will work alongside our professional team to provide a warm, welcoming and safe environment.
We are looking for friendly individuals who are able to offer empathic understanding and able to use active listening skills. This is great opportunity for trainee counsellors to experience a busy therapeutic practice.
Some useful skills would be:
- Confident on telephone
- Computer literate (not necessarily a whizz, but helps to have some computer knowledge) – that comes with any possible office based skills
- Eye for detail
- Methodical
- Common sense
